Day 1:
Kampala to Fort Portal
After breakfast we will depart Kampala and head west to
Fort Portal. Driving through the verdant countryside we
will pass traditional homesteads and farms with a lunch
stop at Tea Garden’s restaurant for a local Ugandan
Buffet, proceed towards the Crater Lake Region with visits
to the Top of the world and neighboring crater lakes. Overnight
at Ndali Lodge/Chimpanzee Forest Guest House/ Primate Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Swamp walk
In the morning after breakfast proceed to Kibaale National
Park visitors’ reception for briefing. Kibale Forest
is reputable for the greatest variety and highest concentration
of primates in East Africa. In the afternoon transfer to
the Bigodi Swamp for another, totally different nature walks.
The Bigodi Swamp Walk is an initiative of the local community
and is known for its rich diversity of birds and primates.
Return to your accommodation for dinner.

Day 3: Kibaale –
QENP
After Breakfast, you will be transferred to QENP with a
lunch stop at Kasese. Upon entering the park, you will enjoy
a short game Drive before checking into your Accommodation.
After lunch take launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel where
different animals such as hippos, elephants, buffaloes,
and an array of water birds can be seen. Dinner and Overnight
at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Ishasha Wilderness Camp/Jacana Safari
Lodge. Simba camp and Albertine Rift Hostel for Budget. |

Day 4: Chimpanzees
in the Kyambura gorge
After breakfast take an excursion to the Kyambura gorge to
track the fast moving and elusive chimpanzees. Chimpanzees
are one of man's closest relations and therefore seeing them
is a wonderful adventure. Alternatively go for a nature walk
in the Maramagambo Forest to see different tree species, primates,
the bat colony and the blue lake. This Can be followed by
an afternoon game drive in search of the famous tree climbing
lions, leopards, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants,
Uganda Kob, Topi and Bushbuck and lots of bird life. Overnight
the same as above |

Day 5: QENP
- Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning game drive, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest the home to the Mountain Gorillas. In case you are
tracking Nkuringo or Nshongi Gorilla groups on the Southern
sector of Bwindi, the driver will drop you at Buhoma to start
a 5-6 hour walk to Nkuringo with the Nkuringo Walking Safaris
as your driver drives around for 6 hours to meet you in Nkuringo.

Day 6: Gorilla
tracking
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for
registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Head
into the forest in search of the Gorillas, the time taken
and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants.
Depending on the time of return, afternoon guided walk on
the Munyanga River trail, or a community guided walk will
be organized with visits to the Batwa people, traditional
doctors and blacksmith, this will be summed up with entertainment
from the Local Youth group members, Dinner and overnight at
the same as above. |

Day 7: Depart
for Kampala
Early in the morning, depart for Kampala passing you through
the homesteads with lunch stop at Agip Motel Mbarara and stop
at the Equator then head to Entebbe to your accommodation
either The Boma Guesthouse/ Gately inn |
