Days Rwanda Uganda Safari Trip

Day 1:
City Tour
A representative from Muka East African Safaris will meet
you at Entebbe International Airport for transfer to your
Hotel in Kampala. In the Afternoon, you will then embark
on the city tour and visit prominent places like: Namugongo
matyres shrine, Bahai temple, Uganda Museum, Makerere University,
Kasubi tombs, Iteso cultural dance near Kasubi, Namirembe
and Rubaga cathedral, Kabaka's lake, shopping arcades in
town and craft shops including National theatre. Dinner
and overnight at Emin Pasha/ Namirembe Guest house/ Holiday
Express. |

Day 2: Kampala to Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park
After Breakfast, depart Kampala and head southwest to Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park with a stop over at the Equator
for Coffee/toilet break and photos then continue on to Mbarara
stop at Agip Motel for Ugandan buffet lunch.
You will then drive through traditional homesteads seeing
banana plantations and famous Ankole cattle with their incredible
long horns. You will then ascend into the kigezi highlands;
here you will start seeing the peaks of the Virunga volcanoes
before descending down the valley into Bwindi Impenetrable
Forest, Dinner and overnight depending on Gorilla Group. |

Day 3: Gorilla
Tracking
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for
registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Head
into the forest in search of the Gorillas, the time taken
and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants.
Depending on the time of return, afternoon guided walk on
the Munyanga River trail, or a community guided walk will
be organized with visits to the Batwa people, traditional
doctors and blacksmith, this will be summed up with entertainment
from the Local Youth group members, Dinner and overnight at
the same as above. Day 4: Cross to Rwanda
After break fast, drive to Kisoro and cross the Rwandan
Border to Ruhengeri.Dinner and over night at mountain Gorilla
Nest or Kinigi guest House

Day 5: Gorilla
Tracking in Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV)
After breakfast, head for briefing by the guide at Ruhengeri
Park headquarters in Pac de volcanoes. The tracking begins
at 9:00am.
The time spent trekking depends on the movement of these wonderful
giants. After the trek drive back to Uganda. Dinner and Overnight
at Kabale White Horse inn/ Cephas Inn.

Day 6: Game
Viewing in Lake Mburo NP
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National
Park and enter the Park through the Nshara Gate. The afternoon
game drive will take you along the lakeshore track, and with
its own system of game trails and cleared walkways, the "Kigambara
Loop" offers interesting guided lakeside walks. Here
you can find herds of zebra, cape buffalo and eland, and Pribi
and topi are easy to approach. Along with the game drive,
many visitors also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo and self-guided
nature trails. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species
of birds found in Lake Mburo including Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced
Lapwings, Carruther's Cisticolas, the extraordinary White
winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird. After the activities
in the park drive to Masaka for your dinner and over night
at Brovad Hotel
Day 7: Lake Mburo – Kampala
After a morning game drive, return to Kampala, the drive
back to Kampala stops at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers and
the Equator to shop for African crafts and then proceed
on to Entebbe overnight and dinner at the Boma Guest House/
Entebbe Airport Guest House/ Gately Inn
