DAYS LAKE NAKURU/MAASAI MARA/GORILLA TRACKING
|
Day 1:
Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi after breakfast to Samburu National Reserve.
Arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive . Dinner
and overnight at a lodge
Day 2: Samburu.
Full day spent exploring this unique park with species rarely
found elsewhere like the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy’s
zebra, beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and many others;
morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight
at a lodge.
Day 3:Lake Nukuru National park
Depart Samburu in the morning for lake Nakuru National park
arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner
and overnight at a lodge. |

Day 4: Maasai
Mara
After breakfast depart for maasai mara via Narok Town arriving
Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner
and overnight at a lodge. Day 5: Maasai Mara
Full day in Maasai Mara, Morning and afternoon game drive.
Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 6: Maasai Mara
Another day to explore the plains of Mara. Morning and afternoon
game drives. All meals and overnight at a lodge.

Day 7: Nairobi-Kampala.
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch.
Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Kampala arriving
late evening for overnight Day 8: Kampala to Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park
After Breakfast, depart Kampala and head southwest to Bwindi
Impenetrable National Park with a stop over at the Equator
for Coffee/toilet break and photos then continue on to Mbarara
stop at Agip Motel for Ugandan buffet lunch. You will then
drive through traditional homesteads seeing banana plantations
and famous Ankole cattle with their incredible long horns.
You will then ascend into the kigezi highlands; here you
will start seeing the peaks of the Virunga volcanoes before
descending down the valley into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest,
Dinner and overnight depending on Gorilla Group. |

Day 9: Gorilla Tracking
After an early breakfast, report to the ranger station for
registration and briefing by one of the ranger guides. Head
into the forest in search of the Gorillas, the time taken
and the terrain vary with the movement of these great giants.
Depending on the time of return, afternoon guided walk on
the Munyanga River trail, or a community guided walk will
be organized with visits to the Batwa people, traditional
doctors and blacksmith, this will be summed up with entertainment
from the Local Youth group members, Dinner and overnight at
the same as above.

| Day 10: Lake
Bunyonyi Excursion
Travel to Kabale for lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you
could also take a canoe ride to explore the many Islands
Dinner and Overnight at Bushara Island/ Habaharo Island
Day 11: Lake Mburo
After breakfast, head to Mbarara, with a lunch stop at Agip
Motel Mbarara, proceed to the Lake Mburo National park,
enjoy a game drive on the way in, you will arrive in time
for boat trip on Lake Mburo. Dinner and Overnight at Mihingo
Lodge/Matana tented Camp/Rwoyo Camp
Day 12: Game Drive/ Entebbe Airport
Wake up for an early morning breakfast, take 2hour guided
safari in the park, then proceed for a game drive on your
way out of the park. You will stop at the Equator for shopping,
then drive on to Entebbe Airport for your Flight. |
